                                                           SECRETARY MONTHLY REPORT

December 07, 2006

Attendees: Chester Davis Jr., Robert Miles, Peter Danforth, Carroll Spencer, and Peter Bosse

The meeting was held at the home of Chester Davis Jr. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Chester Davis Jr. at 7:00 P.M. Chairperson Davis read the October report. The minutes for the October, 2006 meeting were voted on and approved. The treasurer’s report was read and accepted.

Old Business: The drawing took place tonight with the following results: Winner of the afghan – Charles Norburg Jr.; winner of the beauty aid package – Gracie Davis.  It was noted this raffle did not draw very much revenue even though all articles had been donated to the club.

New Business:

Peter Bosse volunteered to hold a pie day at the lodge, he will check his calendar and let us know next month when we will be able to hold this event.

The following items were discussed as to possibly holding these events to draw families into the lodge and build on the family oriented theme: Steak night, Lobster feed, Movie night. The next raffle was discussed for the fall with the possibility of raffling off a black powder rifle.
