A meeting of the Pine Tree Square & Compass Club was held at the home of Chester Davis Jr. with five members present. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Chester Davis at 19:00 hours.
The Secretary’s report was read for the December 2005 monthly meeting and was accepted as read.
The Treasurer reported was read and approved. A check had been written for the Harry Potter Books that were raffled.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Key club has been given several dates to choose from for the Thank you dinner.
January 09, 2006 will be a diner for school of instruction. The menu will be smothered beef.
January 16, 2006 will be the dinner for the forth night program. The suggested menu was to be chicken.
January 28, 2006 will be the dinner for the key club if the schedule works for them. The menu is to be spaghetti and meat balls. The lodge is to be responsible for the cost of the food.
NEW BUSINESS:
Stainless steel pots have been priced at Wal-mart for the Kitchen.
This was for a 12 quart and a 22 quart pot. Also discussed was a 4 piece multi cooker.
The kitchen committee is to meet this month at a time yet to be given.
The Saturday morning breakfast is to be started in March. Robert will check with Alton Methodist Church so not to interfere with their breakfast in Alton.
We have agreed to ask for 2 people from each of the bodies involved for a total of 6 people to work each breakfast. It is hoped to have 6 people from each body that will be able to work a rotating schedule. So no person has to work each month.
