Attendees: Chester Davis Jr., Robert Miles, Peter Danforth, Carroll Spencer, and Peter Bosse
The meeting was held at the home of Robert Miles. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Chester Davis Jr. at 7:00 P.M. Chairperson Davis read the December report. The minutes for the December 07, 2006 meeting were voted on and approved. The treasurer’s report was read and accepted.
Old Business: Dates were set for the following meetings: Feb 1st – Chester Davis home, March 1st – Robert Miles home. Other members will discuss with their families the possibility of utilizing their homes for future meetings and will report back at the next meeting.
New Business:
An application for David A. Young was read, voted on and approved. A letter needs to be drafted to send to members reminding them of the dues deadline of March 1, 2007 or they will be dropped from the roll. The Secretaries and Treasurers books need to be updated so we can be in compliance with our bylaws which state we keep a hard copy of all meetings and financial reports monthly. The next public breakfast will be on January 27th. Volunteers for the day are: Chester Davis Jr., Robert Miles, Peter Danforth, David Young and three girls from the Rainbow, along with Mary Jane Marquis. Chester will put an advertisement in the Penobscot Times once again for the breakfast. Possible raffles were discussed for the summer: Stereo, laptop computer, digital camera, and rifle. A vote was cast to purchase a stereo from the Family Dollar store. An email was sent today to Chris Matson asking him if he is interested in joining the club. Items of future interest were discussed:
Forth Night Program – March; Fellowship Night – April; Widow & Pin Program – April or May.
The meeting closed at 8:15 PM.
