The first meeting of the by-laws committee met at Star in the East Lodge #60 at 7 pm. Chester volunteered to help on this committee and act as Secretary, all were in favor of the offer. Chester will make copies of all by-laws we have at our disposal at the current time and distribute them electronically to all committee members for their review; a hard copy will also be printed for all committee members. The following by-laws will be copied:
The form the minutes will take after the final copy has been approved by both lodges and the Grand Lodge will be booklet form, half sheet size is preferable.
Changes needed to any material submitted from other committees will be done with the consent of the other committee and preferably with them present. This manner of approving changes may alleviate the need for more meetings about the same topic, which would only slow down the entire process.
The next meeting will be held at the same location on March 23, 2006 at 7 PM. All members are requested to bring their appointment books so we may schedule future meetings.
